Why do many of you /qa/tards pretend to be oldfags?

I'm not pretending, I got here during the elections.

Maybe there's exactly one dude left from 2003 and he's just incredibly well traveled 4chan-wise

I came in 2008. I really don't remember much about 4chan through all these years despite visiting every day because my memory is shit. It seemed really hard to get banned until like 2011 or 2012 that is all I can say for sure.
