I don't care about fanservice but when watching a movie, I find it bothersome that sex scenes are often shoved in without offering any plot development. You can easily create a film and leave those scenes to the viewers imagination with a fade to black cut.

Can't remember what game I was playing but during a cutscene, the developers made sure to have either the lady's tits/ass/thigh and general uncovered belly area in either direct view or off to the side for the majority of the time while her and someone else was talking. I like using this exact argument as well. But now it doesn't work out too well when the entire shot is someone's cleavage and there's nothing you can do about it (e.g. moving the camera away). The developers could have used a different shot from the environment the characters are in, there are potentially a countless number of them, but they intentionally went with that.
