Why does /qa/ have to be so spammy? The average thread here has a very short lifespan and I know this isn't a big board. I swear the catalog was completely different the last time I checked it. First, it was filled with pickle rick and now it's filled with creepy edits.

Good threads are bumped so maybe you should consider making good threads. Your Iori avatarfagging has rarely, if ever, produced a good thread.

The problem is, OP, that you probably aren't seeing the real posts. If you are just viewing [qa] through the /qa/ board, you don't see the well thought out posts, the posts made by ghosts, or anything made during spam time. Together, those make up about 30-60 percent of /qa/, depending on the day. So conversation will appear sporadic or non-existent, because you won't be getting the filtered picture.

I actually just flipped over to the /qa/ interface to make this post, and it's pretty funny how much spam [qa] has like this.

Too many people trying to "claim" the board .

You guys can't see why spam and counter spam is horribly flawed unless you invest a considerable amount of time in justifying why you're doing it.

You need to give a considerable amount of thought into what happens when you spam a thread and what kind of reaction that gives to onlookers who don't understand your rational.
Somehow you think that everyone knows what you do and that's a big problem that can be exploited

4chan gives you these things for a reason whenever they bar you from posting on their website for a reason.

It's called PR

There are good threads, so why does an avalanche of spam have to cover them everyday on the main board? I don't get it. How do I see posts by ghosts by the way?

Young lady, if it was not obvious already from these responses, you have made an error in assuming that /qa/'s spinoff guests have a sensible explanation for why this board is filled with spam. Only they have the answers you seek, because they are the ones responsible. They will not provide a justification. In part because they lack the maturity and because a valid justification does not exist. You can return to /qa/ at a later time if you find the spam to be unsettling, or if you wish to stay, it's best to create good threads to counteract it. This will provide /qa/ with much-needed balance between junk and real content. Do not listen to users like >>1508020. Many substandard threads get bumped here (e.g. Saber Riding Banana, Tenshi eating corndog, etc.) and too often do good threads sink to the bottom because of the obsessive thread sliding of the weeb occupants.
