the very core of old 4chan culture was to celebrate sillyness in all it's forms. eventually out own silly in jokes turn against us by bringing in a lot of dumb people who unironically believed the jokes

I really love how on any non porn board (and even /d/) except for /a/ (oddly enough seems to be free of this) and /vr/ and some of the smaller hobby boards you can bring up /pol/ and completely derail the thread until it gets deleted.

it's more that /a/ has some seriously mentally ill kids that flip out whenever anything that's not /a/ culture is posted. The mods indirectly encourage this behaviour by not deleting board culture like it's usually done on the rest of the site.
