On one hand, 4chan and the internet in general made me realize I'm more intelligent than most people. On the other, this place stresses me out all the time due to all the gross stupidity. The fact that so many people treat the entire website like /b/ is depressing. The rules are good, but like the rest of the internet, most of the people are idiotic, self-centered, and lazy.

That is true. I can go to reddit and be absolutely outraged by how the average person things about some things. A comment as simple as "well people should do this" or "people should think like this" or "if you do this, you are a scummy douchey douche!" is enough to throw me over the edge. Coming here you see a different version of it, but I always end up preferring 4chan just because it's raw and you're really not on unequal footing when you comment. Each post gets equal visibility.

It made me wayyy too comfortable with being a NEET.

Extreme hatred of feminism, it has ruined the family structure, marriage, dating, having kids, causes STDs, encourages slut behavior, mentally poisons women, increased immigration, ruined the economy, wages, and civilization itself in general. It is the #1 thing that bothers me.

I view women as having close to the same mental level as children, 99% of women should have a designated place in society as a mother/wife and nothing else, never enter the workforce or attend higher eduction.

Unfortunately, that rawness is usually less about people telling it how it is, and more about them telling it how they want it to be. If this website grew up, then people would be laughed out of all boards for trying drum up pointless teenage drama and self-delusion. As it stands, the rawness of 4chan is unfiltered stupidity. To be honest 4chan saved me from neet life. A lot of people's lives on here were depressing enough to encourage me to make some irl friends and get a job. Only thing I didn't manage was a gf but I'm just glad to have friends.
