How do you think the users will react when legacy captcha is removed from 4chan for good?
>>1493309
Only a few will know in the first place.
I will react by being very sad.
>>1493309
Thanks for reminding me that this even exists. I switched to it when captcha got shitty then forgot about it one day. Now it is super bullshit like "SELECT THE CAR" "SELECT THE STREETSIGN" Google enrages, saddens and terrifies me in that order.
>"select all of X"
>select all of X
>"wrong"
ayy macaroon
>>1493351
When google glasses actually catch on i am sure of one thing... It will damn well know the difference between cars and street signs.
I will be forced to buy a pass again at that point because i am not fucking around with those ridiculous new captchas
>>1493309
Is this even a serious possibility?
>>1493385
If I was malicious I could make it happen very quickly. That the legacy captcha is bot-solvable (probably deliberately and unlikely to be updated due to its deprecation) is well known at this point, and the methods to solve it are not different from other weak captchas. The tipping point will be when everyone has captcha solving scripts due to someone publishing working, easy-to-install code.
>>1493396
Where is this working, not easy to install code?
>>1493406
For me, it's on my hard drive. I don't solve captchas anymore except to start threads, at least when posting from my desktop. I don't think I'm alone.
>>1493409
where can I get it though
>>1493410
You have to write it yourself unless somebody decides they want to end legacy captcha on 4chan.
>>1493411
how?
>>1493414
Same way anyone solves a weak captcha: Fetch the image, do some preprocessing, and run it through an OCR engine.
>>1493417
I don't know what many of those things mean, can't someone just do it for me? Can't you?
>>1493420
If I did it for you, I would be doing it for everyone, and legacy captcha would end.
>>1493423
Thank you for not being a dickhole.
>>1493423
why would it end? surely if the staff cared they would've done it already?
>>1493438
Even if there was no spam increase or there was and they didn't care, it would undercut passes.
>>1493443
out of brainlet curiosity, what programming language would you have to learn to do something like that?
>>1493476
Any language would work.
