Do you consider yourself a forgiving and merciful person?

Yeah probably a bit much so. However, when I get angry at something, I will get extremely angry for a short time, maybe 5 or 10 seconds, then just sort of resign and mope. I try to be forgiving and merciful in the hope that others will do the same to me, but that generally doesn't happen.
