Did he do anything wrong?

He lost, so clearly, yes. Unless losing was part of his master plan. I don't play 4D chess.

His mustache maybe?

The mistake was probably not invading Europe after his megabattleship(Bismark) got sunk by vastly inferior British ships and he couldn't establish air dominance over Britain,
>>1477525
I mean not invading Britain...
>>1477517
Got rekt.

Britain was irrelevant.
They were already so weak that there was no way for them to be a threat for Nazi Germany. They couldn't even defend their own airspace.
Hitler lost the war because the Eastern Front was not going as planned. They couldn't Blitzkrieg the USSR and had to push all their resources to the East and leave the West basically undefended.
Nazi Germany was already collapsing before the USA stepped in.
Just look at the numbers of the major battles when Nazi Germany collapsed. What was the biggest battle on the West Front? What was the biggest battle the USA or Britain won against the Nazis?
Do you remember one?
1,105,987 Germans died on the Eastern Front.
107,042 died on the West Front.
And no... this is not because US and Britain forces were so friendly and didn't kill their enemies (there are really people claiming this shit).... this was because they just had no resistance and because when they joined the war, the war was already over.
