Convince me that every board on 4chan shouldn't be made into a text board.
Having images attached to posts only encourages bad posting, rule breaking and flame wars - take /qa/ for example of the flame wars.
On the 'big 3' boards you see people ask a vaguely on topic question then attach some kind of off topic image (a news article perhaps) to encourage off topic discussion.
People literally just use images to push the boundaries of the rules for the board they're on to give their threads more attention. Put a related graph on a /sci/ thread or a half nude girl, which gets more replies?
Weirdly, the staff seem to think the exact opposite, recently stating they want /d/ to be strictly an image dump board, not to mention how they removed every text board for no reason. Why? Can anyone explain their motives to me?
