>more and more threads on all boards purely aimed at making people upset as effortlessly as possible
>usually just a stupid opinion
>usually just contrary to the board's usual opinion
>worded as smug as possible
>not even "clever" trolling
shitposting has always been a thing but since like about 5 years, there's a dramatic increase in really bland and uninspired, "standardized" shitposting.
will this get worse or will it ever get better again?
sleep snug smug
Why can't I make new threads? For a couple days now I haven't been able to post. I just fill the captcha and hit post and it loads forever until the page says it timed out.
It's easier to ban evade than before, so shitposters just post some generic quick shit a couple times a day and hope they get some (you)s out of it, then evade if they get banned. There's no point in putting any kind of effort into it anymore.
why do they want (you) so much?
You feel it too don't you?
The devoid of all creativity all around you.

Yup, everything is going exactly as planned. Thanks for pointing it out.
I stopped visiting /v/ pretty much entirely like five years ago because I couldn't stand how terrible the board was, but I started visiting it again more and more these last couples of months. Maybe my perception is skewed and I remember it as a lot worse of a board than it really was, but /v/ today feels to me as a much better board. Sure, the board still has a fair amount of issues, but it feels incredibly tame compared with how it used to be.
So at least some boards have become better with time. Others have certainly become worse. A couple of days ago someone here on /qa/ said he believes contemporary /v/ is better than contemporary /a/, and I'm not certain if I would disagree with that statement.

/v/ doesn't have to deal with waifu and shipping wars after all.

I blame South Americans and South East Asians for the horribly dull situation at /a/.
At least everyone knows now since April that those two were the same unimaginative and boring shitposters who just make the same repetitive threads on /a/ all the time.
Considering their economic failures of nations are just slaves to North America or China and Japan, those losers from there can do nothing but apishly imitate their superiors.

You're not being biased at all...

>do nothing but apishly imitate their superiors.
*escapism
what is 'good' shitposting?

>contemporary /v/ is better than contemporary /a/
You mean for anime discussion? Can't say I disagree.

Trolling is a art
Yeah, I sometimes miss when people here sincerely spouted stupid shit; it made laughing feel much better.
but
