I like browsing through /wsr/ to look for /a/ requests I can fill, but ~1/3 of the threads are from requests that already have been filled.
I think it would be more efficient if the OP could somehow delete his thread, when the request has been filled, or at least mark it as filled.
The only problem I see is that a third party might be interested in doing an additional delivery or is seeking more deliveries. Many threads are only interesting to the OP, though, and those could easily be deleted when the request has been filled.
Also, threads die naturally already, so this isn't necessary, but it would still be better.
When such an option should be added, there needs to be an announcement for people to know, so that it can become an institution that is practiced.

Sounds like a good idea, but you need to send it to feedback.

People really need to learn how to use sage on /wsr/.
It's a nice suggestion, OP, but I don't think it will happen. The new boards are neglected as is evidenced by /news/ having a nice 48h autosage which was then disabled which made the board 100x worse. Despite it being a simple switch to turn back on (I assume) and many requests on feedback and here in the past nothing has happened.

Most of the questions there are pretty easy to find if you have basic internet knowledge, so baby steps are needed. It's a severely underage board when it comes to the questioners.

the more obscure are most often unanswered

Well, obviously it won't get the staff's attention like /pol/ or /v/ would. The /news/ one is such a simple change, though...
>>1453240
I sent a feedback about it.
>>1454206
That's good. Don't expect a response, though.
>>1454465
That's okay.

I'm glad you're realistic.
