Is monarchy the superior form of government?
Modern countries are filled with career politicians that only want personal gain. And you "gain" by being corrupt and useless. Instead of fixing issues that got you elected you perpetuate them to get reelected....
What if the success of you and your whole bloodline is bound to the success of your country? What if your countries fall would mean the death of you and your children?
Face it. Monarchy fits far better to human nature than what we have today.

Yes, but a system can only do so much when bad people are running it. Consider the limitations of any system when run by 'bad' people.

yeah, totally, because a kid born into royalty without facing hardships or understanding the economy and all he knows is what someone tells him about it and reading books about it is fit to rule when he grows up
really, the greatest form of rule is an eternal entity that doesn't need a successor, but understands the plight of the common people and understand them, and this entity must not be able to be overthrown for nefarious purposes, i'd want to say an advanced computer, but sci-fi movies have taught us that's a bad idea

Something like the helios ending from Deus Ex would be ideal

Yes, just check Equestria. it is ruled by two princesses and you never heard of any case of corruption in Equestria. Really makes you think.
