I'll try to sum it up. A bunch of Japanese culture enthusiasts decided to migrate to /qa/ after being told that the type of spam they were putting out on /jp/ was unacceptable. So, instead of integrating into the existing /qa/ culture and playing nice with the natives, they decided to forcibly transform /qa/ into a 2D random board. That stoked tensions as you can imagine, sparking all kinds of push back which prevented the idea from ever taking off.

Well, it's been over half a year since they began their attempt. The loli spam is just another tantrum they've thrown as a response to not having their way. It's become clear that they'll never grasp this one immutable truth: the initiation of force always yields the opposite intended result.

It doesn't matter. It's all revisionist history and true /qa/ never intended to turn into a 2D random board. That idea came from outside. /jp/ and it's spinoffs to be more exact. There's a lot of instances of aggression towards crossboarders by 2D randoms that's conveniently being left out of this chronology as well. If you can remember, and you should be able to since you were probably here when it happened, "go back there" "suck my cock dude" and "horsefuckers" were the prevailing terms that were used to address people who came by to ask a question or start a meta thread.
