Hello, my name is anon. I have a suggestion for this site which I think would improve it vastly in several important areas such as:
- Quality of posts
4chan has taken a dip in posting quality on several boards since its incarnation.
- Returning site to its roots
4chan has become a force outside of the internet and as a result it has received a lot of attention contributed to a wave of newcomers who come here less to be a part of a community, and more because of ideological/political reasons, it should obvious to anyone why this is a bad thing.
- Prevent the spread of this ideological crusader mentality to other boards.
This one pretty much goes hand in hand with the two other point I made before, but I still find that it deserves to get its own paragraph. The aforementioned mentality in the earlier paragraph is spreading to other boards because newcomers either believe that this kind of thinking is common throughout 4chan, or they just don't care since they are on a crusade, after all. This has made it seem like that 4chan has a political leaning (which it never has, and should never have).
