Is Sekaiju no Meikyuu/Etrian Odyssey /qa/-approved?

What the hell are you people talking about? This is a dungeon crawling game series.
Anyway, I played one of the games (3 I think?) on the DS a few years ago, it was pretty good but quite difficult and time consuming. I should get into this series someday.

It's pretty good, but I don't have the patience for it without xp multiplier cheats. The remakes might be better, but I haven't played them to know for sure. The DS games with the Sega Genesis-style synthesizer soundtrack was amazing and it saddened me that they stopped using it for the 3DS games.
