how do i use the thread watchere?

It's a tool I don't really understand.

4chan X version is set up by default in a useful fashion where it automatically adds every thread you start or reply to and alerts you if you get replied to in any of them. With the thread watcher open, you can see which particular threads you were replied to in, as well as which threads have new replies (not necessarily to you).

With native you have to add threads manually, I think, and you can see when threads get new posts and when you're replied to, but only with the thread watcher open.
