When considering the distinction between oldfag and newfag, is your opinion 4chan specific, or does it encompass the internet in general?
I mean, if someone has been here since say, 2007, are they still considered an old user even if they didn't go online until shortly before, as compared to someone that was online long before, but discovered this site later?
I've been thinking the latter is a better description, someone that is acclimatized to 20th century or immediately post-Y2K internet, rather than the former, who might have come here after the media exposure. Which is a better standard?
