Reminder, watching anime, reading manga, reading visual novels, reading light novels, reading the news, reading the newspaper, playing games, etc. NONE of that counts as studying Japanese and you're DELUDED if you think you'll ever be N3, let alone fluent.

I'm only learning "yamete kudasai" from all the hentai I'm watching.

I've been having trouble distinguishing これ from あれ but I think I finally figured it out by thinking of "this and that" goes to "これとあり". It sort of rhymes and helps me memorize the two.

The perspective ("You") is the same for all of them, these are the relative positions associated with each word.
Of course, those pronouns have many other uses besides indicating physical positions, but hopefully this should give you some insight. English uses the same word ("that") for both それ and あれ, so this can be confusing to beginners.
