Steven from Steven Universe. The image is basically saying cartoons are cartoons, regardless of the particulars of their origins. Stated differently, Trigger is vigorously trying to downplay the decades-old perception that anime and Western cartoons are fundamentally different. They're attempting to expand their market share without directly competing yen-for-yen with studios like Shaft after finding a large core of Western supporters through several Kickstarter campaigns and now Netflix. If they're successful, it'll be the biggest game-changer since K-On.
