Is weeaboo an inherently pejorative word and if yes, what is the non pejorative word of the same meaning?
what's pejorative mean
"Weeaboo" and especially "weeb" are basically just meaningless buzzwords now. I'm sure most of the people who use them have never seen the word "wapanese", let alone understand its meaning.
weeaboo has no meaning

It means you are using the word to label them as something bad.

oh like the word cuck
>>1426450
I'd say so, it's now primarily used as an insult to anyone who engages in anything Japanese now. Otaku is probably the non pejorative alternative for it but depending how you use it, it could be either.

good example

You're right. I've encountered people calling themselves weeaboos in earnest without realizing it was just a dumb wordfilter. Triggering desu.

Only a weeaboo would say that.
