It encouraged suicide bombjngs, yet honorable suicide meant a lot of officers were lost for ending yheir lives in shame over a failure.

It was a waste of manpower and material. They lost the war the moment they declared war on USA, it was basically a gambit, they hoped to hit so hard that the U.S. government just gives up, agrees to a white peace and leaves them to their empire building in east asia.
