This one is at least half right; IIRC scuba gear vents some percentage of CO2 and reuses the remaining CO2 and oxygen until all of the oxygen has been used. Some amount of CO2 or NO2 also has to be either reused or incorporated in the air tank, otherwise divers would experience the lightheadedness and disorientation associated with a pure-oxygen environment.

>>
>>1408475
>Most experts are skeptical, saying that the proposals ignore the expenses and risks of developing the technology and that the idea is "completely impractical".[9] Claims have also been made that the Hyperloop is too susceptible to disruption from a power outage or terror attacks to be considered safe.[9]
Fucking pussies. Fears like this are why we as a race are being held back from our true potential. Just hook up a backup power thing to it. You can already see solar panels attached to the tubes in another image so that solves that problem.
>>
>>1407706
Didn't someone test this out ingame?
>>
>>1410063
Yes. Combination of centrifugal force counteracting gravity and centrifugal force causing the planet to bulge slightly there, making the surface further from the center.
>>
>>1410073
Yes.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S85nudR6D-Y
>>
>>1410089
So it should work in theory, however the profit would probably be negligible and not even pay for the transport costs.
>>
>>1410141
It won't work because people know about the gravity difference and will pay you based on the mass, not the weight.

... here is my improved version. Unlike >>1435713 it would actually run if you built it. It's trickery, not perpetual motion, though.

Gold's price is actually measured in Karats, whoch isn't exactly either weight or mass
>>
>>1436726
Karats are 1/24; they measure how much of an object is gold, not how much gold you have.

Yeah mate. I have some news for ya.

When I look it up, the most common seems to be US$ / troy ounce. Now I know there's some confusion due to pounds sometimes being used as a unit of force (the weight of a 1 pound object at standard gravity), but normally ounces, pounds, etc. are units of mass.

Two different solutions to the same problem. The point though is to not be nuerotypical. Not being a normalfag means a lot more than just being one alternative type, there are as many ways to not be normal as their are numbers.

I saw a troll science image somewhere that basically describes a rocket / the moon landing program. Haven't been able to find it, though.

This would work if we had some kind of space elevator-like water wheel. Send the water up it, the cooler it gets, when it gets to the top, all the water falls back down to earth. Global warming solved.

Or, if you did not want to send it to space to cool: send hot ocean water down a series of pipes down into a tank. Thanks to the geothermal effect, it will cool the water. Once the tank is filled, it will over flow, releasing the cool water back into the ocean thus mitigating the heating of the ocean.
