There's a lot of RF noise emitted from the rocket engines. If they're going for publicity, they should stream LOS to a ship about 10NM away (based on antenna height) which could then stream video to their contracted satellite without a fucking rocket getting in the way.

Second stage has reached the parking orbit and the payload is good, so the primary mission is going great. At this point any issues with the second stage can potentially be fixed if they arise (unlike during any other point of the launch for obvious reasons), so I think we can breathe easy. No idea if first stage landed successfully or not, I doubt it. I know they lost satellite signal and don't know for certain yet, but holy shit did you see how much the barge was rocking in the waves? The rocket could have landed and then tipped over, who knows, but either way not a big deal. This core was from a previous rocket generation and was just going in trash anyway, and they already aced the return to land first stage recovery on the last flight, which will be used for the majority of the missions SpaceX flies.
