that figure is estimated based on stone erosion. the pyramids were covered in granite. meaning 4,500 since the granite veneer was chipped away or shaken loose.

arab historians write of this anecdotally, but don't give a definitive timeline. and that the stones were used to rebuild cairo and were intricately drawn with hieroglyphs.

Artificial peaks thereon we can raise! So did Ningishzidda to the leaders say.
On a tablet the image of smooth-sided, skyward rising peaks for them he drew.
If it can be done, let it so be! Enlil with approval said. Let them also as beacons serve!
On the flatland, above the river's valley, Ningishzidda a scale model built,
The rising angles and four smoothsides with it he perfected.
Next to it a larger peak he placed, its sides to Earth's four corners he set;
By the Anunnaki, with their tools of power, were its stones cut and erected.
Beside it, in a precise location, the peak that was its twin he placed;
With galleries and chambers for pulsating crystals he designed it.
When this artful peak to the heavens rose, toplace upon it the capstone the leaders were
invited.
Of electrum, an admixture by Gibil fashioned, was the Apex Stone made.
The sunlight to the horizon it reflected, by night like a pillar of fire it was,
The power of all the crystals to the heavens in a beam it focused.
When the artful works, by Ningishzidda designed, were completed and ready,
The Anunnaki leaders the Great Twin Peak entered, at what they saw they marveled;
Ekur, House Which Like a Mountain is, they named it, a beacon to the heavens it was.
That the Anunnaki the Deluge survived and prevailed forever it proclaimed.
>>
>>61184444
Ninmah, by the occasion moved, a poem recited and sang:
House that is like a mountain, house with a pointed peak,
For Heaven-Earth it is equipped, the handiwork of the Anunnaki it is.
House bright and dark, house of heaven and Earth,
For the celestial boats it was put together, by the Anunnaki built.
House whose interior with a reddish light of heaven glows,
A pulsating beam that far and high reaches it emits;
Lofty mountain of mountains, great and lofty fashioned,
Beyond the understanding of Earthlings it is.
House of equipment, lofty house of eternity,
Its foundation stones the waters touch, its great circumference in clay is set.
House whose parts are skilfully together woven,
The great ones who in the skies circle to a resting make descent;
House that for the rocketships is a landmark, with unfathomable insides,
By Anu himself is the Ekur blessed.
Thus did Ninmah at the celebration recite and sing.

They were built by the great megalith building maritime civilization which existed before the Younger-Dryas period 12,800 to 11,600 years ago.

This was a civilization with the organization of Rome, the navigation of Phoenicia and the trade network of Vikings.

The advanced astronomical understanding used to build these megaliths was developed by this civilization as a means to navigate in open seas. This is why they preserved the info in stone, so that their society's greatest accomplishment, global maritime trade, would not be lost forever.

This is why stone buildings are mirrored on start patterns from 12 centuries ago. This is why all world languages have similar root words. This is why all cultures have ancient myths about a great deluge and a high society which existed before it.

Humans didnt sit around doing nothing for 190,000 years and then suddenly all develop agriculture and writing at the same time, worldwide, about 10,000 years ago.

We have been farming, trading, and living in large cities for a long time. A cometary impact on the North American continent roughly 11.5k years ago lead to the flood, the extinction of 90% of all mega fauna in the Americas, and reset the clock on advanced civilization

There's an interesting project someone did. They built a replica of Stonehenge by hand on their own, using no cranes or pulleys. Instead using a beam lever and pivots.

>>
Some historians realized that if you press limestone gravel and bind it with water, you can create blocks that appear identical to those on the pyramids. They even made a demo where like five of them made like six blocks in an afternoon with nothing other than buckets and planks.

I'll search for the video. Note that not all historians agree on this idea, especially considering most of them write books holding different theories and they would pass for idiots and lose their business of someone finally found the answer. But of all, it's the least retarded, and it's been proven to work and actually used.

no it makes perfect sense for large rocks, much more sense than slaves doing it with pulleys and levers. That's retarded, they had the same brains in their heads that we have now and they were an advanced civilization. It is not me or the producer of this video that are overestimating the capabilities of the ancient Egyptians but you who is underestimating them.

If you actually watch the video there is lots of evidence presented that demonstrate that this is the way the pyramids were built and evidence to suggest that this technique was also used in Indonesia thousands of years ago.

they are made of cut sandstone. allegedly they had a outer layer of limestone at one point

sand stone isnt that dense/heavy versus many other types of rock

the obvious answer is that a group of 4 men push the block until the reach the edge of the pyramid being built.

the block is tilted towards the edge of the lowest layer level and sort of rolled on top of it by pushing and lifting. multiple people doing this would allow for both to happen at the same time

its a desert. nothing but loose sand every where . less friction than hard packed earth or a road. the sand stone isnt as heavy as granite. stone henge is more impressive than the pyramids

>>
>>61183282

You didn't need the wheel when you could make cylinders that could act like wheels. You just place a flat surface on top of those cylinders like a plank or board.

There's evidence of this at abandoned Inca sites. Ofcourse it's more sophisticated than a plank on cylinders. The boards would hook onto other boards creating what looked like a train. They were made of rock. The forefathers of the Incas in the Caral Supe Valley built pyramids that are older than 6,000 years.

My educated guess though.

From what I learned in school. The Egyptians used slaves, ropes, pullies and slopes but it sounds like it's missing a few things. The cylinders and planks. How else do you bring such giant rocks to the building site?
>>
>>61193603

Laws of physics still apply.
It was harder, but still humanly possible as proven by this man.
This guy wasn't even a physicist or a scientist of any sort, so imagine the scholars at the time who were practically dedicating their life to building the pyramids, and there was much much less to be distracted by.
These guys had all day to think about how to move a stone.
This was ONE guy, who practically figured this out in his spare time, vs all of Egypt who were gonna dedicate every damn day to the job.

Also, the pyramids were originally built to house the bodies of Pharaohs but the mummies were moved to the much more discreet (so discreet they were unopened 4000 years) Valley of Kings.

how can we prove this? is there any evidence that the mummies were ever put in the pyramids and later moved? or is it just as, or more, likely that the mummies were put directly into the valley of kings?

the presence of a rope doesn't indicate when it was put there

The wheel had been independently invented in several places by 4500 years ago, and the Egyptians likely could have conceived of such a thing, if it had been of use to them. But the wheel would not have mattered for the construction of the largest pyramids. They could not have made a structure with wheels (or an axle, if they also had axle technology) capable of carrying that kind of load on that kind of terrain over that kind of a distance.

We don't even have many vehicles that could perform that task.

They obviously used rolling tools that were completely independent of the freight and the source of its momentum, like logs underneath the blocks of stone. And a fuck of a lot of slaves.

You are a certifiable retard if you don't believe carbon dating works. These methods aren't just adopted and people go "well shit, this probably works kinda accurately!"

The pyramids and parts of the sphynx are the last remnants of the previous advanced civilization.

Measuring the remaining levels of C14 in an organic substance is a fact.. Assuming that the level of creation of C14 today & millions of years ago -- is the same -- is not a fact.

Science is based on fact; not hyperbole. I simply pointed out that the rate of C14 production millions of years ago could be the same as today or it may not..

It's the natural shape a hanging wire or rope takes under its own weight, like loose chain between two poles

a caternery is the shape made by a chain hanging between 2 fixed points

if you invert that shape and make it out of wood or something, you can roll a square shaped object along it, and the centre stays at the same height

so if you use caternaries, you can roll square blocks as if they were round blocks
