There are a lot of obscure disputes at a moderate scale between politically affiliated groups. CPD and a superfluous amount of SLED agents would outnumber them and everyone would be arrested and/or shot. The trial would be fairly swift and they would all have decent sentences for their crimes. The public wouldn't be involved and would carry on going to work and shopping, talking about it and quickly telling each other to stfu about it.

We had the KKK and Black Panthers face off on the statehouse steps about the flag. All out of towners and they threatened to be armed. Prior to it, the administration took the flag down so there was nothing to talk about and created a makeshift law about not being able to have firearms within 50 ft. of the courthouse. There was decent CPD presence and searches. A couple people got heated, but that's about it. No shootings. No all out warfare. And we carried on with our lives.
