Should we feel sorry for people who receive some sort of in-work benefits, such as child tax credits, who voted Conservative in the general election (in the belief that, since they were in work, they would not lose out), and who will now lose those benefits?

How can anyone argue this is sustainable? Especially on a minimum wage income of £18,720, which will be a full time job in 2020 on MINIMUM wage before tax.
All you have to do is work 40 hours a week and not have more than two children if you haven't got the income to support them.
