We are done, the long long list of things that would have to change is now impossible to achieve. Literally we'd need a straight run of wins in every part of society, the law, international relations, the operation of government, education, the military.
Its just not going to happen.
In the UK you get elected based upon who can promise the (mostly thick) electorate the most, and then stay in power by walking a careful line between delivering nothing and delivering the bare minimum so that voters dont realise you just made up a load of stuff to get into power.
In order to "fix" Britain you'd have to do so many things it would be impossible. Stamping out the widespread electoral fraud would be a start, then I'd impose a simple exam which you'd have to pass in order to vote. Understanding of a dozen basic concepts around economics, the rule of law, the operation of government. Kids could do it as part of their graduation.
We are fucked now, the demographic change that starts in the next couple of years, as the 1997 intake of muswogs starts to reproduce, will see to that on its own.
