>"Rainforest Cafe has fired an employee after he posted a foul-mouthed Facebook rant calling Hurricane Harvey survivors 'cheap evacuees' who should 'drown'."
>"The man wrote a message on the San Antonio Craiglist Facebook page this week, moaning about customers he had served at the 110 E Crockett downtown branch."
>"He branded them 'cheap evacuees' for asking for discounts and not leaving tips."
Currently working a retail job to myself through college in Dallas, and I 100% sympathize with this man. I can't even begin to tell you how many nonwhites have come in asking for discounts and then thankfully leaving after the 20% that is being offered out of kindness is apparently not enough.
He did nothing wrong. Discuss.

Community, currently.

He's got a point about asking for discounts. That's just crass.
Not leaving a tip is fine though. If you want a higher wage then earn one. I'm not your employer.
>This is now a tipping thread

Everyone should tip $0.

I wish this were more popular, but it's unpopularity is exactly why it isn't viable.

Just when I thought the BBC had zero redeeming qualities they come out with the funniest thing I've seen in months.
I always laugh my ass off when these employees get mad at the consumers for not tipping them instead of their employers for not paying them enough. Fucking hilarious I love it.
