Marxist value is tricky and is part of a large box of words they'll redefine on the fly to shift the goalposts and will even proudly tell you they're doing this because they're post structuralists.

Value is pure supply and demand elsewhere, supply is what's actually the umbrella of labor costs and production price.

Well not according to marx. He says in the first section of capital only useful things can have a labor value. If you spend 50 years making a mudpie its not worth anything. Also there is something called socially nessary labor time according to marx where he says that the value is determined by the average labor time so if you make a chair and it takes you 2 hours but the average is 1 hour its still only worth one hour. Its kinda complicated.

Ancient people survived with no running water and no electricity. Is need food? Is it education? Is it health care? If people survive on their own without it being provided them is it truly a need? This is actually true, Marxism is almost a form of esoteric shamanism because it has so many buzzwords the practitioners actually believe they're untouchable. Marxism is Hegelian and almost all Hegelian philosophies are overly complicated.

I kind of like this because of how untrue it is, the current Marxist argues white men don't need jobs because society will give them free bread (they literally argue as if you can walk into a shop and immediately walk out without paying if you're a white man), but the standard of skill needs to be manipulated and lowered to allow someone who can't compete to get a job that white men don't "need."
