I'm in one right now. It's not dying.
>>140270689
>Dying small towns. They are actually improving for the most part.
The ones that are dying are the ones where city councils didn't do shit to try and save their town. The market has demands and if you can't adapt to it you simply aren't running a town correctly. Small towns would become amazing for hipsters if they manage to focus on small areas and bring in tech work.
>>140270689
When the towns completely dead and they will sell the whole thing to me for under 100k I'll revive the small town.

The heart of America is dying and being replaced with consumerist soulless multicultural garbage. Everyone is moving out to the suburbs or the big cities to help the shekel landlords make more money
My small town will always have a place in my heart. I remember going to the park at the town square and seeing and of my friends there. I remember how you could walk on the sidewalk and pass by all of your neighbors, which you were all friends with. I remember the farmers market where we would eat fresh corn, bread, dairy and fruits fresh from the farms. I remember growing up with the same class in kindergarten all the way to senior year. I remember that everyone in town was friends with eachother. I remember hunting season and we were given a day off of school to go hunting. I remember seeing everyone at church every Sunday. I remember Christmas day. I remember that we were all white. I was happy. My life couldn't be any better than that. I felt the spirit of community, friendship and kinship.
Now fast forward 15 years later. Just about all of the stores are closed except for the gas station and dollar general. Literally nobody was walking on the sidewalks or was outside. It was close to becoming a ghost town. All of your childhood memories were swept under the rug. And for what? So that the NWO gang can make life as soulless as possible, by cramming the goyim into rat race cities and suburbias, making the goyim into miserable slaves with no purpose but to slave for the kikes.
An anon once asked me, "Have you ever lost anything important in your life? Something that some people thought as little or unimportant, but it meant the world to you?" Well that was it, and its no more. The old America is dead and soon we will all be a bunch of heritage less, faceless, soulless mongrels working like slaves for scraps.

We could resettle the small towns. Lots of vacant properties at dirt cheap prices, low rents and utility costs and taxes, preexisting and overbuilt infrastructure, low population density of sympathetic individuals, ect.
1. If you could get a few hundred people to commit to a move and initial investment, you could settle into one of these towns and make up a significant chunk of the population. It wouldn't be difficult to win the locals over to your side if you pick the right town and bring in business, and from there you take over the city and county government.
2. Once you've secured the government, you can begin to pass ordinances and laws to attract more like-minded settlers to your town while keeping undesirables away. You'll have to work around the Civil Rights Act and other such laws, but there's a lot of wiggle room that people can take advantage of.
3. With the town now growing again, attracting businesses again is no trouble at all. Even better if the settlers you attract are educated, trained, or wealthy. With control over the government and the cooperation of the majority of the population, building up local business while keeping out businesses like Walmart should be no trouble.
And boom, you now have a thriving settlement.

it's probably a rustbelt town or former PA coal town. Maybe a county seat
If I worked from home and had some spare cash I'd love to get involved in a project restoring old towns

Where I live all the small towns are slowly dying. As soon as you lose your elevator, it's game fucking over. Everyone just been slowly moving to the nearest big town (1000 people or more) for the past 40 years. And then fucking businesses move into those big towns because they see a "growing market". My town got a fucking fast food place 2 years ago. It's crazy. We went from 1200 two decades ago to almost double that now because of all the small towns just dying off.

nope. I live in a small town which has increased in small scale commercial property and population over time. The large stores are actually fairing poorly in comparison as we just had a grocery store and a larger retail store close down in the past couple years while the small-medium sized businesses are fairing well. Economic changes aren't necessarily uniform.

This is the sports facility at the Continent in Columbus, Ohio, on the Far North Side along the SR 161 corridor. The Continent was probably the most successful, if not earliest, mixed-use development in Central Ohio.
(((They))) like to blame (((changing shopping habits))), but the truth is that the forced busing in Columbus City Schools started about the same time the Continent did. It took fifteen, twenty years, but niggers (and later, after they chased the niggers off, mexicants) ran the Whites off. If Ohio didn't have the Reds and Indians this would be the perfect site for an MLB stadium.
>>140284675
I looked it up on street view and don't see any abandoned shit. The intersection of 161 and 71?
I like Nevada ghost towns. A common theme seems to be that World War 2 labor shortages killed a lot of them.

Yessir. I'm sorry I don't have more pics for you.
>don't see any abandoned shit
I guess in retail lingo it would be considered dying. Some of the apartments above the shops are occupied, but virtually all the outdoor shopping and restaurant space is vacant. The sports facility is all but unused, and the indoor shopping area is shuttered.
There is also a strip of hotels/extended stays that are boarded up, and the Giant Eagle is closed. The strip club went under, and a eat-if-suicidal Chinese joint took over. Waffle House and Bob Evans are probably the most successful stores in the area. Even Wal-Greens gave up.

There is nice place called Yerington in Nevada. Too bad the Mexican farm workers outnumber the whites 30 to 1.
