The Mittani Indo-Aryan language is considered older than Vedic or Avestan because it has aika instead of eka. Vedic is supposed to to have merged ai to e and hence is considered younger. While I don't doubt the Indus Valley is one of the oldest on Earth, I doubt its older than Egypt, Sumer, or just the Ancient Near East on these alone.
