The asteroid known as "Florence" is scheduled to make a flyby. It is said to be the largest asteroid ever.

The official story is that the asteroid has safely passed by. But this is fake news.

The real story is that it is set to collide with Earth and we are seriously in danger if something is not done about it. All hope is not lost though.
NASA has gathered a team of professionals consisting of experts at drilling and obviously trained astronauts to assist them in their mission.
This team is headed up by a 6'0 tall, Caucasian man, imposing, drilling expert. He has enlisted his team which includes his daughter's boyfriend, a huge black guy, guy with beady eyes, and a funny blonde guy just to name a few.
Their mission is to pilot an experimental craft to land on the asteroid, drill into it and detonate a nuclear bomb which will split it in two.
The mission will succeed but I expect that there will be some casualties along the way. This will not be the end of our problems however. Not by a long shot. The asteroid will indeed split into two. One will impact the north pole and the other will impact the central US.
The one that impacts the north pole will create a huge crater that is inaccessible by land. The impact was so deep that it seems like you can get to the center of the earth. Inside of it, there are multiple subterranean layers, each more dangerous to traverse than the next.
This isn't just any asteroid. Little do we know, this asteroid will bring extraterrestrial life with it. The life form has the ability to corrupt any living being it touches. The more resilient humans can withstand the corruption and even gain abilities at the cost of their sanity.

The second asteroid will land around the central US in the countryside. Thankfully the bigger chunk will have broken into smaller pieces but these pieces are still dangerous. A small town is devastated by the shower but this shower didn't just rain down space rock. With the shower, a small craft will crash land into the corn fields where a couple (blonde haired middle aged man, and red haired middle aged woman) will discover a baby boy inside of the craft.
