Honestly, what would be the point?

It's just sad. In order to get the message across the HE will not be divided, the only way he could think of to do it is to divide himself from the rest of society.
Think of where it is. It's in his house, in a room no one goes into, where the most exciting thing that happened to it was a fly landing on it. There's nothing there worth stealing. It's nothing.
