Is socialism inherently authoritarian?

It's inherently retarded.

Can you answer the question?
>>140164986
Well yeah, Daddy takes the food away and gives it to all his wives other sons. How is that not authoritarian.
>>140164986
Yes. Do you have any mote questions or is this /thread?
>>140165216
Can you give an explanation?
Yeah but commies will say the government will be "for the people" and can not be detached from the working class. They don't see a system as authoritarian if that system is solely working towards the greater good. Of course this isn't actually the case in socialist countries, but western socialists don't give a fuck about reality.

I don't know but what I don't understand is why marx & engels tried to bruteforce it when its actually the other way around. Socialism will come to be on its own when equality, solidarity and justice are established.
>>140164986
Yes. The idea needs a strong central government to redistribute the wealth.
>>140164986
any system of governance is inherently authoritarian because humans are, largely, inherently authoritarian. they love hierarchies, they love order. and you don't get these things spontaneously.

Socialism declares control over all mechanisms of trade. In order to monitor value exchange authority has to be asserted over value exchange systems. Without authoritarian command and control of economic activity, socialism devolves into matriarchy and oligarchy, then another 'violent normalization' to purge the commies, then free-market capitalism.
