If you actually do some research you'll find that their economic growth was actually not that bad throughout their existence, and most of its citizens in 89-91 were actually against its dissolution.

Communism only works in a post-scarcity economy.
Post-scarcity economy is the way to go, how do we achieve this? With nuclear power.

There was no starvation in USSR post-WW2.

Bread lines are a thing of the post perestroika Russia, that is to say, starvation happened when USSR changed it's economic system to a capitalist one.

Economic calculation problem.

It dissolved because the oligarchs and high level government officials wanted it to, they basically took all the country's wealth.

That is why Russia and many of hte former soviet countries are ruled by oligarchs now

Holodomor was the result of outdated farming practices and droughts.

And famines were a old tradition in Imperial Russia. USSR ended them.

Nutrition in USSR was better then in USA

Cuz comunnism is a flawed ideology that cant be put in action in real life. The only thing you can get done with comunnism is a tyrant goverment that starve and kills its people: URSS, Cuba, NK, Venezuela, etc

It turns out when you go and kill off all the competent people, you're left with a country ran by incompetent people. Why do ideologies of equity fail? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pareto_distribution

You should also read the Gulag Archipelago. It's hilariously depressing. What they cared about was always results. If somebody warned that a desire was impossible to meet without catastrophic consequences, they were arrested for being political dissident and then somebody new was thrown into their place. This new person then had to figure out how to make 5 with two 2s without drawing attention to the fact they were destroying their equipment or working people to death.

It was a country where people lied about everything because admitting reality was treasonous. Sound like anyone?

Countries with broken ideological systems can limp on for decades. The reason why the USSR "failed" is because people seemed to legitimately believe the western propaganda that if they became western liberal democracies and embraced "freedom", their economic and political lives would become better.

Then the 90's happened. It's been revealed since that the Communist Party won the 1996 election, but it was rigged by their opponents.

Even now? 64% of those FSU/CIS inhabitants (Excluding Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia) believe that life was better in the Soviet Union, even after all of the anti-communist shilling a propaganda that's been beaten into their heads for decades now.

I'm not even a Marxist(in fact I am anti-marxist) but the western propaganda and media systems are a joke and everyone knows it.

Don't trust the kikes.

There were three major shortages. They didn't turn into starvation because the USSR imported food from the USA. Instead of admitting communism doesn't work, they had their people hunt for the infamous "colorado bug", creating the impression of sabotage.
>>
>>140147689

20% of all food in the United States TODAY is Imported, even with all of the advancements and "capitalism".

Having food shortages if you don't trade internationally is a reality of the modern world, irregardless of your economic system.

Exactly
>>

>20% of all food in the United States TODAY is Imported

The US is actually one of the single largest exporters of food in the world. The reason we import is not because we have to, but to import luxury items like cocoa. We're actually self sufficient but we import excess so we can have more than we need.

>Having food shortages if you don't trade internationally is a reality of the modern world

That's a straight lie. We don't import because we need to, we do it because we want to. Russia does the same thing right now- since it's capitalist and all. It's a powerful exporter too right now.

>>
>>140148850

You're over simplifying, but you're not wrong about most of what you said.

The Soviet Union refused to adapt to modern farming methods, but the realities of the Soviet Union in that period was that most of the country was uninhabitable by normal standards and was still a net food exporter for most of it's existence (until right at the end under Gorbachev, where the economy fell apart due to poor policy).
>>
>>140150499
>most of the country was uninhabitable by normal standards

Think this through for a second. If they have proportionally smaller habitable lands, but still have vastly more land needed to suit the needs of their population- can you really blame land? No, of course not. That's essentially another lie, because the proportion isn't what's important- it's the total amount of land.

>was still a net food exporter for most of it's existence

Year for year, this is true. However, it's not true that they were agriculturally stable in the cold war since they relied on the US for imports. It's not abnormal either. The pattern of shortages continued from the Imperial era throughout the Communist era in similar intervals despite technologies such as the tractor(which were often overproduced outdated models, with a high storage life which itself increased the cost of keeping such a reserve-bad management policies there too).

USSR ruined our country. So the faggots deserved it.
