That premise assumes our universe ever had a beginning, which is based on a creationist argument.

The 1st law of thermodynamics state that energy is never created or destroyed, therefore, how could our universe and its energy be "created" and how could it be "destroyed"? It assumes a linear progression, where as entropy says that all energy will eventually reach equilibrium in a closed system, but that assumes the universe is a closed system.

Imagine 5 ships going to different solar systems to colonize planets. Flying with the high speed which is needed to go to this places first place.

To survive as "Humans" the five planets need to communicate.

That's not how it works. EM waves induce current in metal, that's literally how radio communication works. If the wave carries too much power (frequency * amplitude), the current it induces can disrupt or even fry electronics.
The only solution would be to either shield it or replace electronics entirely (with light based computers as you said for example)

You're right about the last part, optical computers would be rad, especially since they can so easily be done in ternary, which is far more efficient for doing math anyway.

What i tried to say is that by improving electronics by shielding, changing materiel or changing electronics into photonics entirely you can ignore problems with metal.

This is not only what OP implied to be problematic (flesh is weak, metal is immortal... but what about EMP's) but also a trend in modern EMC engineering as its way cheaper now to change electronic base than changing whole structures made out of conductive metals or else.

My point was that there's nothing you can really do to "improve" electronics.
You can either shield it (which just means putting it in a metal container/cage - it has nothing to do with the circuitry itself), or you can replace it entirely by optical computers (which I don't count as "electronics" because, well - it isn't, even if it performs the same role)

As long as you're relying on electric current, you need to use conductive materials.
Conductive materials induce electric current when exposed to EM radiation.
Therefore, as long as you use electricity, you are vulnerable to "EMP's" (microwave weapons), or any other source of high powered EM waves, like solar flares for example
