What does /pol/ think of the band Joy Division? Imo they're pretty much the most popular natsoc band ever and it's hilarious that most of their listener base today consists of liberal hipsters. I mean their first song ever was entitled "Warsaw" and started off with Rudolf Hess' prison number, and the EP that song was on featured a Hitler Youth on the cover. Their two major albums aren't as overtly fashy but have tons of natsoc-esque imagery. Ian Curtis' wife also painted him as a racist right-wing extremist in her book about him and the band

Many musicians flirted with nationalist and strength/power imagery at the time because it was counter-culture.. is it really that hard to believe? They were just artsy socialites undergoing a rebellious phase; the ones who have survived have almost been basic bitch liberals. Hell even some of the big weirdos like Throbbing Gristle were ultimately just lefties 'avin a giggle.
