My friend had relatives from East Ukraine who lived in Donesk or something. While the civil war was goin on, clearly... Germany never officially recognized them as refugees. So they actually started with the deportation procedure because the 27 year old father were to enlist in the kiev military at that time. They never got a penny for housing them. Yet they didnt get a working permit.

One year later all the gypsies from bulgaria and romania started abusing the "apply for asylium" mechanism and got thousands in cash.
