IE is based in North America, despite its name. Damigo (founder) was an Iraq vet, and Mosley (new CEO) is also American. I guess the identitarian movement started in France with the new right, but not exactly sure if or how IE is directly related.

his summary of Hitler here was stupid. Hitler failed at what he tried, but in the context of the pressure on Germany post-WW2 his gamble was the only hope Germany had of dominating Europe (rather than Russia, Britain, or the USA). He hides behind psychology and weaves a childish narrative about WW2. This is important because the alt-right does not have the luxury of worrying about having the perfect leader while the demographics flip. I agree that leaders must be competent (and not lead people into a trap, like Spencer did in Charlottesville), but as long as people are held responsible for their failures this is not a central problem. The alt-right does not have a Fuhrer Principle.
