Do /pol/ like trekking/backpacking/etc?

Most right wing people I know like the outdoors. The left hipsters don't like to get dirty. However half of these right wing outdoors enthusiasts in my circle are shit head dirt bikers and off roaders that trash the desert here.

I've been on a few long-term camping trips as well as hitchhiked through 46 states. I don't see why it has to be a political thing. Just camp if you want to camp.

It is an all white past time. I do long distance trekking (typically 7-20 days). I have never seen anyone who is not white on a long distance trek.

Ok, I have never trekked in the US, but here in Europe, it is an all-white sport.

I feel like camping in Europe is probably as lame as camping on the east coast of the US. Trails, roads, people, regulations, etc. You should try the western US or Alaska sometime if you like camping.

I feel that the left wing statist thinks camping and survivalism is insult to society.

I did the way of st james (jakobsweg) and some other hikes in new zealand (great walks). Plan on doing the kungsleden next year, too.
