This isn't surprising at all. Charlottesville is a lefty haven. Not as bad as Berkley, but not terribly far off.
There is absolutely no way that he can get a fair trial there.
He needs to try to move venues and get another hearing regarding his bail.
He's not a flight risk and doesn't even have enough money to go "on the run" if he wanted to.
His case is a very easy case for being found not guilty, but he has got to leave that leftists hellhole.
They're going to try to make a martyr of him. That is not going to go well for them.

He has no chance of being found not guilty, the video, email, photographic, DNA, crime weapon and witness statements have him nailed for at least a 4 year spell and rightly so.
