Gibs would have been expanded considerably, taxes levied on the middle class, American innovation in the medical field would have been dead (and since we're the world leader in such innovation that means the entire world's medical advancements would slow to a snail's pace), and the worst part is that once you get any social program it can basically never be removed so the country would have unironically been ruined forever.

Hillary would've been more warmongering status quo. Bad, but recoverable and not disastrous for everyday people.
