It's the realization that there is no argument to change people's thoughts, so the only solution is violence.

True...but no one is trying to change opinions any longer. Both sides are trying to KILL their enemies. Antifa is not arguing with 'racists' to change their mind - they are beating them because they can, and won't get called out for it.

That means that, inevitably, those 'racists' are going to start killing those people so they no longer have to deal with it, OR, even more terrible...

Those white supremacists will simply say "If I can't have it, you can't have it," and they'll take out the things Antifa/the Left need to maintain their high ground:

Communications. Electricity/Cameras. Police (calling 911).

Those are the 3 main things that Antifa and the Left are leaning on to control the narrative, and bring in the REAL muscle that is feared. Take those out, and they are helpless children, and the civil war will start like a wildfire.

Actually, it was my fear that made me want to NOT hate people here.

When I was a liberal, I believed all problems could be solved with the right argument, or education, or just kindness. That people were fundamentally good, and just misguided.

What I didn't understand - didn't WANT to understand - was how these beliefs are rooted in rational self interest created by our material conditions. Whites benefit from white supremacy. Westerners benefit from imperialism. The middle class benefits from working class exploitation. These inescapable facts are something I was too afraid to acknowledge when I was a dumb liberal, and /pol/ helped me face that fear.

This board helped me evolve from a progressive to a libertarian to a Marxist to a Maoist.

Basically, yes. Racists are entirely rational in their desire for white supremacy, and there isn't a legitimate argument against them. I'll go as far as to say anyone who is white middle class and isn't a racist is an idiot.

This is where the hate comes in. I know I can never change their minds, because they benefit from the thing that I hate. They aren't ignorant, they're just my natural enemies.
