That' a cypher, not encryption. Imagine having to coordinate a whole fleet one letter at a time.
Actual channels are end-to-end encrypted, scrambled and sunk into the noise spectrum, they are basically invisible unless you now how to properly descramble, and even then, encryption is mathematically sound. I'm a telecom cunt.
