Under 3" is legal to conceal. Assisted-opening is theoretically legal.

I myself carry a Douk Douk. They're non-locking so I'll hardly run into any issue with LE, especially considering they're quite widespread among LE and French military, and it rings "I'm with you guys" in their ears. The good parts are it's easy to make them razor sharp, and the non-locking joint is tough as fuck and safer than many locking chink knives, and it'll just never close on your fingers, plus as it gets banged up, the lock tightens even more.
