I was involved in interviewing her and the rest of the team she was involved in during the recent Road America race that got called due to lightning. With the shit we got now. Back then you were driving monsters like this for example Ford Cosworth V8 turbocharged with manual transmissions, shit aerodynamics and no electronic assistance. We were used to great seasons, races with lots of overtakes and people were filled with passion; given that you had to be a maniac to drive one of those (back in those times 1-2 pilots were killed each season)

It was just different... without the need of being edgy, that feel of raw and almost uncontrolable power gave F1 its golden era.
