China won't defend the North Koreans. A month or so ago when the US was playing war games off NKs coast the Chinese just lined the border with troops to stop and refugees if it did kick off. They don't give a shit anymore, they are happy selling products and getting rich, and they need the US market to buy their shit more than they do some crazy little bastard who is asking to get nuked.
