Its ironic that so many countries revolted against its monarchy for the sake of liberty, but in the end democracy voted in a much more intrusive and controlling government. Who is more free? People who live under a small government that has little control over your life, but that government is a constitutional monarch. Or people who live under a large government that regulates every product and has laws about every action you can or cant take, but is voted in by the masses. A constitutional monarchy thats limited to boarder control, defenses and defending natural rights is the most freedom we can ever have.
