I grew up mormon. The amount of time temple activities suck up is too much for most people, and you have to pay 10% of your income into it. I also had to canvass people to join the religion for 2 years. all boys have to do it. If you do decide to become mormom, just know that the temple will take up most of your time, and you can kiss alcohol and caffeine goodbye.

I drove myself crazy with the questions and mysteries of the Mormon religion until I discovered Nemelka's writings. Now I'm completely free of religion and "spirituality".

Former Mormon and one-time Mormon missionary here.

Mormonism does indeed embody the best and worst of white people. They promote cleanliness and responsibility. They put families first. They want people to be self sufficient and not indolent. They prefer control and social conformity over recklessness like drug use, sexual promiscuity and eccentricity.

Unfortunately, they are also intellectually servile. Even though they appreciate status and the education that comes with it, ie professions like doctor, lawyer and engineer, they are not critical thinkers. They are intellectually spineless on anything controversial that does not comport with a mainstream Republican opinion that is also deemed acceptable by church standards.

Mormons are anti-intellectual in the sense of dismissing and even denigrating the philosophical tradition of the West, particularly where it offends their religious sensibilities. They are anxiously bound to their religious superstitions such that they have great social anxiety if they attempt to defy these. Hence, they are easily cucked by neo-Marxist propaganda unless they can safely follow a mainstream figure not explicitly criticized by the church authorities. (Their universalism is toxic.)

Mormons cannot be counted on to lead the way. They can be counted on to make great soldiers someday in the revolution. Unless, of course, the "prophet" mumbles some multicultural, tolerance shit. Then they will all cower and scurry off.
