Demographics (which are destiny) mean that Europe and North America will be heading towards Syria+ levels of civil war or Japan levels of demographic collapse by 2050. For all the ideals that liberals espouse about "Diversity Is Strength" for the past 50 years, they don't seem to realise about how we will end up like Syria with nukes when Climate Change Really gets going and ethnic groups start competing for resources.

The ship on preventing things from getting to that point sailed a long, long time ago (Oh how naive we were about open borders and everyone sharing), and we're just waiting for the inevitable armageddon when the scorpions strike the frogs halfway across the river. Out future isn't Warhammer 40K or Star Trek, it's Mad Max with a fucktonne more radiation poisoning.
